All schools welcome
This workshop is designed to provide insights into how implicit bias and racial microaggressions can interrupt and harm the learning process. Participants will gain a clear understanding of these phenomena and how they manifest themselves in schools, and will also learn practices to address these issues.
The NEASC Standards for Accreditation challenge schools to provide a safe, positive, and respectful culture that demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging for students. This workshop is a first step to achieving that goal!
