Beyond the Poster: Meaningful implementation of your Vision of a Learner

Many schools and districts across New England are doing the important work of identifying the key skills and dispositions that they want their students to develop. However, that is just the first step in working to ensure the Vision of a Learner is embedded meaningfully into a school or district… beyond a poster on the wall. This highly interactive workshop will center on some key tools, structures, and shifts that facilitate a deeper level of implementation for all members of your learning community.

Participants will learn these key tools and structures, explore high-quality examples, and have a chance to plan for their own context.

*Please note that the Vision of a Learner concept may also be referred to as “collective vision for student success,” “portrait of a graduate,” and "vision of the graduate."

Who should participate?

This workshop, Part 2 of the Vision of a Learner Workshop series, is appropriate for schools/districts that have a Vision of a Learner (Vision of the Graduate, Profile of a Graduate, etc.) and want to implement it more deeply. Schools that do not yet have a vision should view Part 1 options.

IMPORTANT - These workshops are designed for schools/districts located in the US only. If your school is located outside of the US, please search for events listed under "international education".
