Associate Director for Accreditation and School Improvement

As Associate Director, Kathy helps guide member schools through the NEASC Accreditation process and serves as a partner in their ongoing school improvement.
Kathy joined the NEASC staff in 2013 after working for many years in Massachusetts public school districts as a middle school mathematics teacher, middle school assistant principal and principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. She earned the degrees of Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and Master of Arts in Teaching and Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Bridgewater State College. Kathy served as a member of the NEASC Commission on Public Schools for five years and has been on over 50 NEASC Accreditation visits, mostly serving as chair of the teams.
Kathy believes that NEASC perpetuates the practice of lifelong learning, which aligns with her passion for education. By supporting member schools, NEASC helps them stay current and pursue innovation.
