Several staff members from the NEASC Commission on International Education will be presenting at the 2021 ECIS Leadership Conference (virtual). We are very honored to be taking part in this timely and important discourse on diversity, inclusion, and embedding equity and belonging within our communities.

This session offers a brief but honest look back at the history of K-12 education, with a particular focus on the highlights and lowlights of formalized schooling as developed in Europe and the United States since the 1890s, and gradually imported abroad where today it faces both daunting challenges and inspiring, hopeful opportunities.

Making Learning Matter to Your School Community
This presentation illustrates how parents, teachers and students can all be part of a thriving learning community where pursuing your passions and interests and sharing your work with the community is a natural process. Participants will learn about a four-part design framework that helps create a connected, inclusive community.

IB & NEASC: A fully aligned evaluation and accreditation protocol the CLP
This session will present the newly developed and fully aligned collaborative process of self and peer evaluation which leads to:
- continued authorization to implement IB programmes
- new or continued accreditation for a school on the NEASC ACE Pathway
- a school focus of ongoing growth and transformational learning
