Cellphones in Schools: A panel discussion with students and educators from NEASC Accredited Schools
Distraction from learning. Mental health implications. Cyberbullying. Staying connected to loved ones and responsibilities. Safety and security. These are just a few of the topics schools and governments around the world are considering as they determine the role of the smartphone in schools today. Cellphone policies in classrooms are not new but are on the rise, as legislators and school leaders consider how far to go in eliminating phones from the school day.
Join us for a panel discussion featuring educators and students from public, boarding, and day school environments that are at different stages and levels of implementing cellphone bans.
