Dan joined NEASC in 2021 after serving for ten years as the superintendent of Catholic schools for the Diocese of Providence in Rhode Island, where the focus of his work was on school vitality and sustainability, talent development and leadership, long-range and strategic planning, effective board governance, enrollment management, institutional advancement, minority recruitment, inclusive classrooms, and collaborative professionalism. He served on the Commission on Independent Schools from 2017 – 2021.
Before his tenure with the 35 schools in the Diocese of Providence, he served as an Assistant Superintendent in the Diocese of Arlington, VA, and as Head of the Middle School for St. Anselm Abbey School, in Washington, DC. He earned master’s degrees from The Catholic University in Washington, DC and the University of Minnesota, and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
Dan lives with his wife and four children in Rhode Island.
