Pathways to Accreditation

NEASC offers schools several pathways to accreditation to help schools in their growth and transformation. We understand that schools are at various places in their development, and they have needs that require a personalized approach. Though each accreditation pathway is distinctive, all are grounded in the development or affirmation of strong foundations for an effective school, as well as a deep focus on high-quality teaching and learning.

We believe that one size does not fit all when it comes to school improvement and transformation. The NEASC team can help you determine the best pathway for your school and its unique context.

Upon application, NEASC staff will support a school in choosing their accreditation protocol, informed by school type — international, public, independent — and a school’s capacity, readiness, and goals for the process.

We are very pleased with our new NEASC relationship. Our recent accreditation visit reaffirmed the decision to partner with such a forward-thinking organization. This is the first time I have looked forward to an upcoming re-accreditation process, because it is so clearly aligned with our focus on learning. Our school community came away very reassured and we look forward to the next steps in our journey together.
