New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)

Research Office

The NEASC Research Office is a value-added benefit for the membership and is dedicated to examining educational issues from the perspective of knowledge and expertise found in the accreditation process. The Research Office serves as an important resource for policy makers, educators, researchers, and practitioners in the region, nation, and beyond, by gathering and providing data on a range of educational topics. Research studies typically rely on, and encourage, partnerships that strengthen collaborations among K-16, and are supported by various external grants and initiatives. The Research Office regularly provides members of the New England Congressional delegation with information on an array of educational issues and has most recently responded to requests from the offices of Senators Kerry (MA), Kennedy (MA), Jeffords (VT), Reed (VT), Sununu (NH), and Gregg (NH), and U.S. Representative Tierney (MA). NEASC is happy to share the wealth of information it houses with its membership, media, policy makers, and other interested parties in an increased effort to distribute knowledge that relates to promoting best practices in education.
